Poster Presentation RACI Biomolecular Division Conference 2013

Queensland Compound Library (QCL) – Australia’s National small molecule diversity resource (#72)

Mikhail Krasavin 1
  1. Griffith University, Nathan, QLD, Australia

Queensland compound library was established at Griffith University to serve as a central depository of organic compounds isolated or synthesized in Australia, to provide compound management infrastructure that will facilitate compounds' uptake for various biological screening campaigns and foster collaborative drug discovery/chemical biology projects in Australian academia.
Academic compound submissions to the QCL are expected to create a unique source of molecular diversity, covering chemistry space vastly different from the existing proprietary or commercially available compound collections.
The seminar will focus on the distinct advantages for the depositing/accessing QCL members as well as on practical aspects of compound submission, handling and retrieval.
